AOC Douro
Nowadays, the Douro quality wines, (DOC), are a great venture for the region and it’s where Castelinho has one of its greatest assets. Castelinho Red, Castelinho Colheita Especial, Castelinho Reserva and Castelinho Lagar dos Saraivas, are successful wines at a national and international level.

White 2005

Red 2004
The Douro vineyards strong personality, as the result of the combination of the region’s noble varieties, is present in this wine. It’s a wine of deep colour and an unusual scent of mellow fruits, with a soft flavour, mild tannins and an elegant ending. Click for Technical file.
Reserva Tinto 2004
Deep red colour. Intense ripe and jammy flavours with hints of vanilla. Rich and concentrated on the palate with fresh elegant tannins, anticipating a long and persistent finishing. Click for Technical file.
Colheita Seleccionada 2004
With intense red colour, this wine reveals a great intensity and elegant aroma, from the Touriga Nacional vine variety. It presents citrus flowers and blackberry notes in a perfect balance with vanilla and coffee.

With intense red colour and violet reflexes, this wine presents an unusual aroma dominated by the blackberry and bilberry, and by black currant and spices, very well integrated with vanilla and tobacco.
